As an aside - I know that as many as half of my readers do not share my faith convictions, and I know that I have been leaning into my beliefs in my writing the last few weeks, which I hope does not put you off. (I promise to get back to horses and humor soon.) This is another faith-heavy post, but I hope you’ll give me the honor of reading it, even if it feels foreign or confusing to you.
